If you are a school or program in the process of incorporating competency based assessment practices into some or all of your curriculum, you may benefit from working through your questions and process with teachers who pioneered this work. BDEA offers residencies throughout the academic year and gives teams of educators the opportunity to see competency based assessment practices in classrooms, and to meet with teachers and staff for conversations about relevant systems and structures required to support the work. Residencies can be customized to address a school’s specific problems of practice, and to include conversations and examinations of blending CB with other pedagogies including blended- and project-based learning.
If you are interested in discussing a Residency, please get in touch with us to discuss scheduling.
Residencies are most effective when visiting groups are between 4 and 6 people.
